I am an independent visual artist based in Lexington, Kentucky. I focus mostly on large-scale painting, usually favoring water-based pigments and mediums on raw canvas.

Leone isn’t actually my first name, it’s my middle name. When I started painting I decided to go by the name Leone in remembrance of my paternal grandmother, Madelon Leone Saunders Muir.

Finding art in the spiritual concept of the divine feminine, I often focus on female figures, in an effort to confront unattainable societal ideals and expectations placed on feminine beauty.

I just graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, focused in studio art, and a minor in music; aspiring to work as a professional practicing artist, exhibiting in galleries, and potentially pursuing a career in curatorial studies.
